Little mermaids 
filled with so much hope 
and joy in their eyes
are so innocent and naive

sometimes I envy them
sometimes i miss my ownself
filled with nothing but hope
That I can make the world a beautiful place

when i stepped out
i learned that i cannot swim
World is not the way it looks

It's no sea
my little feet got tired
